Developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) program is a Green Building rating system that quantifies various building elements and compares them to a standard of efficiency, providing a tangible level of building performance.
At Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. we are versed in all aspects of the LEED® building process, having designed numerous HVAC systems for LEED® certified projects throughout West Michigan.
At Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. we believe that sustainable construction is not only good for the environment, but is good business.
We know first-hand the benefits that sustainable design affords, and as building owners and facility managers are now discovering, building, renovating, or retrofitting to LEED® standards ensures efficiencies that generally result in cost savings over the life of the building.
As members of the USGBC, we are proud of the fact that Grand Rapids is home to the most LEED® buildings per capita in the United States, and we look forward to continuing the advancement and implementation of sustainable design and green building principles throughout West Michigan.
